All our referrals are carefully considered, taking into account the needs of the young person being referred together
with the needs and pontential impact on young people already in residence.
In order for us to consider placement
requests, we ask that placing authorities supply as much up to date information as possible, together with the aims of the
placement and desired outcomes. A decision regarding referrals can usually be made within two hours subject to all
relevant information being provided.
